What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach which includes assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders related to the spine, pelvis, and extremity joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, and nervous system.
What to Expect After Treatment:
Chiropractic can improve movement, decrease neck, back, and extremity pain, relieve headaches, prevent future muscle and joint injuries, enhance athletic performance, improve flexibility, relieve pregnancy-related backaches, correct gait and foot problems and improve posture.
Our chiropractor at Healing Hands may utilize a wide variety of techniques and therapies such as chiropractic adjustment/mobilization, soft tissue therapies such as MRT or instrument-assisted soft tissue therapies, modality therapies such as IFC, ultrasound or EMS, rehabilitation exercises, core strengthening regimes, active or passive stretching programs, lifestyle management, and ergonomic advice, all of which would help to facilitate recovery from injury and optimize performance.
