Physiotherapists are educated through accredited University programs. Currently Physiotherapists need to obtain a 4 year undergraduate degree followed up by completion of a 2 year Masters of Physical Therapy degree. Physiotherapists are regulated University trained health professionals with a highly advanced understanding of musculoskeletal impairments and body mechanics. Physiotherapists also possess high level of knowledge in assessment and treatment of cardio-respiratory and nervous system.Even when you are not sure why you feel the need to seek counseling, the process, techniques and interventions used by the therapist will help you separate emotion from the experience or behaviour. Working through problems will desensitize your psyche and reduce the strong negative feelings that burden you.
